Youth Cattle Camps

Ag Connections has established Youth Cattle Camps to provide training for schools and young cattle enthusiasts.

Youth Cattle Camps cover topics from Animal Behaviour, Nutrition, and Reproduction to Showing, Preparation and Marketing. These camps take a hands on approach to learning and are suitable for both inexperienced and experienced handlers.

The student’s will gain the confidence and skills required to safelyhandle cattle, compete in public speaking, junior judging and various group activities.

The 3-day cattle camps involve a fun packed weekend where the students bring their own steers/heifers. This will enable students to work with their own animals in preparation for up-coming shows and events.
